About Me
My journey in innovation began over a decade ago in India, where I first discovered my passion for leveraging technology to improve lives. What started as managing IT systems in healthcare soon evolved into something much larger—helping organizations worldwide design, implement, and scale solutions that leave a lasting impact.
Whether it was scaling an open-source e-learning platform in Bangladesh to bring healthcare education to rural communities, or spearheading an AI-integrated skills platform in Myanmar, I’ve always been driven by the idea that technology can bridge gaps and create opportunities for those who need them most.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible teams, partners, and stakeholders across Africa, Asia, and Europe. Together, we’ve turned ideas into actions, and those actions into results that speak for themselves.
But my story isn’t just about numbers and systems—it’s about people. Every project I’ve led has been centered on empowering teams, building capacity, and ensuring that every solution we design serves the people it’s meant to help.
What can I help you with?
1. Innovation Scale-Up
I work hands-on to adapt innovative concepts like AI integration for skills development to local contexts for sustainability. My focus is on actionable frameworks that help teams to confidently navigate new territories while piloting, continually aligning, and measuring outcomes for scale-up.
2. Technology Integration
I prioritize end-user experience and scalability. I engage with stakeholders throughout the process analyzing existing workflow, identifying the most appropriate technological enhancements, and planning implementations that maximize adoption.
3. Project Management
I start by aligning with project goals and then build structured plans that bring together people and resources to achieve them. My approach is simple–clear communication, measurable milestones, and collaborative decision-making, iterating and adapting as needed.
4. Capacity Building
I prioritize practical, applicable knowledge– through tailored training sessions, hands-on mentoring for individuals and teams, and ongoing support that prepares them to maintain and expand projects independently.
My Journey
My journey in innovation and technology integration began over a decade ago, but the seeds of my passion for leveraging technology to make a difference were planted much earlier. Every role I’ve taken on has added a layer of experience, insight, and skills that fuel my drive to create scalable, impactful solutions.
Business Development Lead
Zabai AS, Norway
January 2023 – April 2024
My recent role as a Business Development Lead took me to Dhaka and Yangon, where I spearheaded the development of an AI-integrated digital learning platform. The aim? To bridge the market skills gap in Myanmar's emergency context. It was a project that required innovation, collaboration, and, most importantly, a vision to provide over 1.5 million young people with the tools they needed to build their futures. Securing $0.4 million in funding within a year, I worked closely with Helvetas, UNICEF, and Save the Children to bring this platform to life in low-tech environments, aligning the technology with local demands. Through market research, needs assessments, and careful planning, we delivered a product that truly met the needs of the people it was designed for.
Project Associate
Swisscontact, Switzerland
June 2021 – July 2022
In Dhaka, I took on the challenge of scaling Bangladesh's first open-source e-learning platform for primary healthcare workers. This project wasn’t just about implementing technology; it was about expanding healthcare access to rural communities who needed it the most. By fostering collaboration on GitHub, we created a platform that could be continuously improved by the community. Strategic contract negotiations reduced procurement costs by 20%, allowing us to maximize the impact of the project. From publishing Terms of Reference for digitalization projects to guiding mobile app development for youth training, I ensured that we aligned technical solutions with the real-world needs of the communities we served.
Product Manager
Hirslanden AG & University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland
July 2016 – May 2021
In Switzerland, as a Product Manager, I took on the challenge of driving digital innovation in a healthcare setting. Working across hospital departments, I integrated IT service management solutions that boosted operational efficiency by 30%. The goal was clear: improve patient care by streamlining processes. To ensure seamless functionality, I worked closely with IT teams, business units, and vendors, achieving a 99.99% service availability rate. Leading requirements gathering sessions and overseeing the deployment of software enhancements, I ensured that the new solutions aligned perfectly with the hospital's IT infrastructure. But more than that, it was about change management—building capacity and ensuring that staff embraced these new tools and processes.
Management Trainee
Zimmer GMBH, Switzerland
Jan 2014 – July 2024
As a trainee at Zimmer GMBH, I worked on the implementation of a prosthetic joint registry web application. My role involved creating a toolkit and documenting best practices that were tailored to meet the needs of diverse markets, specifically in Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands. It was a unique challenge to tailor a solution that met regulatory and user requirements in different regions, and I thrived on ensuring the solution was both functional and user-friendly. Post-implementation, I supported training initiatives that empowered users to adopt the new systems confidently.
Business Analyst
2A Capital Advisory & Symphony Healthcare Technology, India
March 2010 – June 2012
Before my work in Europe, I was fortunate enough to lead projects across India and Africa, where I managed the deployment of digital solutions in healthcare settings. At Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, for example, I facilitated workshops to gather the necessary product specifications, helping the hospital transition from manual to automated billing, procurement, and logistics systems. This resulted in over a 40% improvement in billing accuracy, positioning the hospital for a full digital transformation. I also led a process redesign that enhanced workflow efficiency, with staff adapting to the new digital systems in under three months—a remarkable achievement for such a large organization.
